Volunatarily Non-Profit Status &
Use of Funds
The conference operates on a strictly non-profit basis and is established exclusively for academic, educational, and societal advancement. All revenues generated through participation fees, partnerships, and related activities are used solely to support the conference mission and its long-term development.
Any financial surplus is fully reinvested into future conference activities, follow-up academic and research initiatives, and capacity-building programs that strengthen education, innovation, and international collaboration. In addition, surplus funds may be allocated to selected environmental and social sustainability projects, supporting initiatives with measurable positive impact. Further, finacial surplus can also be donated, for example to animal shelters.
No profits are distributed to founders, members, or participants. Compensation for services is limited to transparent, market-aligned remuneration for operational and professional work. This can be subject to taxation. Further, this is approved by independent governance bodies and documented in accordance with non-profit regulations.
The Executive Director is employed and receives market-aligned compensation reflecting the scope, responsibility, and international scale of the conferenceand tied to the workload, approved annually by independent governance bodies.

Available surplus funds can be directed to environmental projects with measurable impact, reinforcing the conference’s commitment to a sustainable future.

Inclusive access, mentorship, and support for underrepresented groups are prioritized, while resources are channeled to educational, equity-driven, and socially meaningful initiatives. Through these efforts, the conference creates lasting value for students, researchers, institutions, and society at large.
